Cody Builders Supply provided 2.9 million dollars of misc. metals for the Sacramento Regional WWTP (Echowater) project. The scope included all the metals in Spec section 5 to include: stainless steel built-up tube baffles, grating, roof joist, including stairs, platforms, & railings that were designed and engineered by us. Coordination with the grating and railing supplier via 3D modeling was crucial to ensure the stairs and platform fit up correctly in the field. The checkered plate and grating layouts required detailed as-builts from the GC and were very challenging to straighten the covers and ensure the result was a perfect fit around all the openings. We incorporated the as-built information into our drawings and built the material to the custom sizes required that eventually resulted in the beautiful end product you see today.
