This is the most divine of projects to have participated in. The sheer size and extent of this engineering marvel are difficult to grasp. The mutual action and cooperation of so many men who created such a thing. It was an honor to be a part of it. If you run from one end of the bridge to the other, you jog past our stainless steel fence, which will be there for our ancestors, to keep them from falling off. It’s hard to imagine that all that fence came out of our Lamar shop.
Massive ships now pass by under the new bridge, which would not have cleared the old one, and in the middle, you can look through the binoculars and see the crews directing the vessels through the channel.

Because our customer, Nick Manfrendini, asked us to look at some metal expansion joints, we began making them and have completed several fabrications of such across the nation. We’re proud to be Bridge Builders!
