For Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties pump station in New Jersey, we had to decipher cryptic design drawings. The intent was to create “Fillets” which are sections of plate arranged like pyramids and baffles to prevent the swirling around of vortexes of water which could affect the performance of the massive pumps as they suck up the storm water. We worked with the contractor, Anselmi and DeCicco, to create these stainless steel pieces. We created 3D drawings to visualize the system with all its components.

BRACING is key when welding stainless steel as it warps and distorts during fabrication. We are experts in control of heat distortion. Stainless steel behaves differently than steel when welded. The heat distortion is greater.
